Friend's daughter works there so we accompanied him and his wife.

Wow! Best meal in a very long time. BBQ shrimp was fantastic, meatballs, fish, everything. Highly recommended

Have yet to eat there, but I drove by the other day and the aesthetic of the first floor looks like the bar at a 1990s Holiday Inn.

I looked at the prices and they are charging $28 for spaghetti and meatballs. Their waiters wear Green Polos like so many chains.

Something just doesn’t quite fit to me.

Though, if I hear enough good things about the food, I may give it a try.

A friend told me the other day he had the best steak on the NS there a week or so ago. This is coming from someone that swears by 527’s filet.

Rumor is the head chef had several decades with Ruth’s.

Carson had about 10 years at Ruth’s then about 10 years at Louisiana Lagniappe.

We went to the soft opening. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Good to hear reviews of food. Was going to wait a few months before going.

The ambience is definitely off putting. Not a comfortable space. Ended up going for dinner. Cocktails were extremely sweet and not balanced. Fried okra and seafood arancini were decent. Since the board said the chef worked at Ruth's I got the 8oz filet. Not a good steak at all. It was way over seasoned. Too much salt and onion/garlic powder. Tasted like it was seasoned with french onion soup dry mix. The cook on it was good though. The service was very slow and they weren't that busy. Will try it again in a few months. But the steak was not even close to 527 or Cafe Lynn
