I think the general consensus is 2 out of 3 times comparing various Zaxby's vs Cane's, the chicken fingers themselves will be better at Cane's. (Again, not always, but usually.)

But the difference is generally small enough that one would prefer to live or work near a Zaxby's because they have a much more diverse menu.

i was gonna start a thread, but did a search and decided to post in this one


i ate at a zaxbys for the first time this week

chicken fingers vs. chicken fingers, canes would get a slight edge


i enjoyed the seasoning on the fries vs canes fries

sauces seem exactly the same, however you get more sauce at zaxbys

toast is better at canes, but very comparable

what sold me was the menu....it was still founded on chicken tenders, but there were more options

i got a plate that was half chicken tenders/half boneless wings with fries and toast

the wings and boneless wings add a lot of variety IMO

if i go back, i'd like to give the salads a try too, but normally when i go to a chicken place, i'm not thinking about eating healthy....and i doubt their salads are what you would consider healthy anyway


basically, if there were a zaxbys and a canes side by side, i would go to zaxby's everytime
