So they want to ruin what they have going for it by growing too fast and becoming a crappy run corporate restaurant chain?

Wonder if Graves read about Fast Track in his business classes at LSU or if he was too busy stealing the idea to pay attention on how to destroy a good chain.
he will be sucessful selling off the company, hell the new CFO has history with destroying companies then moving on. The idea is great because people have a local connectiong, mythical as it might be, to Todd Graves. The idea that Graves will be the Papa Johns to his company is a stretch.

Can't really blame him for taking the idea here, can you? I'm not defending him by any means, bc there's no way I know the whole story, but just makes sense to me it's natural. I worked in an italian rest for 13 years, would me opening an italian place and serving pizza, pasta, such in Atlanta be a bad thing? or even in BR for that matter. I just don't know where to ethically draw the line between right and wrong when it comes to business. My thoughts, if you can look at yourself in the mirror each day, and know you gave everyone around you at LEAST a FAIR SHAKE, then you're ok in my book.

I have no problem with stealing the idea, it isn't like it has never happened before.
My problem comes with how he passes it off. Talking about putting together the plan in college and not getting a good grade then he proves everyone wrong, blah blah blah. The reason the plan proved everyone wrong is because it had been proven effective. also the way he tries to do the "rags to riches" scheme with his background.
All the team building crap he preaches within his corporation to screw his employees and not even create opportunity to go to
Dallas. before you ask, yes I know someone who works there, but they still don't see this as a bad move

I don't really get how he can justify moving his headquarters to Dallas, but he's staying in BR. It's like f my employees- y'all can move if you want to keep your job, but I'm just going to stay here. Screw that.
I agree. I'm friends with a lot of corporate level employees who's jobs are now being moved to Dallas. Basically they were told, move to Dallas where you have ZERO connections/family or you will be out of a job. What a great way to thank them for their 60+ hour work weeks they have been forced to do over the years to get Canes to where they are today. This move puts all of his corporate level employees and their families in a really tough spot.

zaxby's > cane's
I think it was you who said this over a year ago. I was living in Orlando and after reading a thread on the OT praising Zaxby's I decided to find one and give it a try. Well IMHO you are wrong supatigah. Zaxby's is NOT better than Canes. Zaxby's tasted like crap.
