Like I do with chicken and sausage gumbo?

I only put gator and a little tasso in it besides the veggies, roux etc.

If you don't freeze the leftovers, I might be forced to beat you vigorously about the head and neck with a wooden spoon.

We learned in chemistry that alligator sauce piquant will not freeze at temperatures above -55 F. As a result, the Navy has used it in some antarctic applications.

Chicken sauce piquant, on the other hand, will freeze at 32 F.

Has something to do with gators being cold blooded and chickens being warm blooded.
