Cabela's vacuum sealers
Anyone here have one of the non commercial grade sealers? What's your opinion, better than the foodsaver one's you can buy at walmart?

Here's an example.

I have one. Going on 6 yrs. Wet foods can be a problem but probably an issue with all non chamber vacs. I can work around the wet foods with settings and prep.

I've found that letting wet foods get slightly frozen before sealing helps it out.

Definitely don't do well with my Foodsaver, either. The seal never ends up right

$90 for a vacuum sealer is a pretty good deal- the FoodSaver is $140 at Sam’s

re: Cabela's vacuum sealers
I bought my third generation food saver last month and it works great. My first two lasted at least 5 years each and I’m satisfied with the brand. I was looking to buy one for a Christmas gift and I see the gave the last one I bought is on Amazon, as a Black Friday special. Regular $180 for $122. I would recommend.
