re: BWW Charged Me 20 Cents for Seasoning on Fries = Zero Chance I Go Back

My only thing is that I see seasoned fries as an upcharge at many places. Its not like its a common item like asking for ketchup. Some places will provide Tonys at the table though too.
But Im sure most of those places have items like ketchup and salt and pepper figured into the cost you already pay for a meal. (Most likely no where close to 20 cents though)

If it was a special seasoning I could see paying the quarter. Charging for water should be free unless in a go cup, I understand that's a cost. Ranch. Hmm if it's good like homemade their own recipe then I won't mind it. But if it's from hidden valley then it better b free

Absolutely agree. But it's not about the 20 cents. If it is on the menu then it's fine.
If I am the waiter I simply say "just want you to know there is a 20 cent charge for the seasoned fries" or something like that just to head it all off.

It is special seasoning.
It's listed under the additional seasoning for food section of the menu.

Did his server not tell him it was a charge for it? That would be a WTF moment to see it charged on the bill but never mentioned. I would agree.

That seems fair.
It's iffy because when you look at fries on the menu, it says something along the lines of "try them with our salt & vinegar seasoning." It's a little ambiguous if you don't notice that there's a list of seasonings that cost extra on the menu.

This changes things.
The online menu doesn't have prices so I can't tell if prices are attached to the seasonings on the in store menu.
If the menu has prices for everything, but no prices for the seasonings, I would assume they were a special offering but would not expect to be charged.
Then I would wonder why they don't put a price by it on the menu. Almost sneakier.

Is it possible that they do charge for the salt and vinegar seasonings and the server got confused and charged for just any seasoning?
Is the OP talking about the salt and vinegar seasoning to begin with? Or just Tony's?

It looks like they have 4 types of proprietary seasonings in a separate section of the menu.
I would have no problem being charged for them at all. I would want the prices to be on the menu or to be told there is an upcharge though.

You kids get all this straightened out yet?
Can't y'all see it's just a ploy to stimulate the economy 20 pennies at a time.

I want to solve the mystery, but I don't really feel like driving to BWW since it's about to pour down

Reminds me of Chris Rock from I'm Gonna Git You Sucka. I think I'll stop by BWW today and ask them to just shake the seasoning can once for a nickel.

I get it. It's ALL about you when there are many of us out here really needing this information.

Is this a paradox? Afreaux and LSUAfro posting in the same thread?
