Buying quail

Neighbor is selling a dozen quail vacuum sealed for $36. Not sure what I would do with them but it seems interesting. Is this a decent price?

This might not be your thing but some of the best chicken and waffles I have had were deboned fried quail and waffles.

Yep, you are correct. Chicken and waffles is a specific type of dish that was substituted with quail.
