i am pretty sure that is catfish nuggets not filets. big difference.

Naw, it filets ... they sell the nuggets (bellies) like that too, but those are usually $1.99 or less per pound.

Buy a couple of 10-12 pound catfish and fillet them yourself. It's not hard and will be a lot cheaper.

Thanks. Anyone have any experience with Guidry's quality?


That's a great price for fillets if you can get it for that. Guidry's is top notch. THey are out of Henderson and do all their processing there.

I doubt it will be much cheaper. With catfish you are only going to get a 40% yield or worse. Unless you are paying less than $2 a pound you aren't saving anything.
