Teets sausage is awesome. That's where I go but I'm sure there are other excellent choices as well.

Teet's for delicious meats of all kinds forced into casings. Tell your buddy that he's got to get something from their smokehouse as well as the boudin. I'd go with a smoked ponce and brown the hell out of it in a black iron pot and make a rice and gravy good enough to feed the gods, but that's just me.

Cracklin', I've got nothing on. I've never bought that in Ville Platte.

When they get to Ville Platte have them enter 2228 Pine Point Rd., Ville Platte, LA 70586 in their nav unit and go there.
That's the address for T-Boy's Slaughter House it's 13 minutes from downtown Ville Platte and that's where they will find the Best Boudin and Cracklins.

Best cracklin in the state is at Paul's Meat Market on the Chataignier Highway. It's on the way to T-Boy's in Mamou if you're heading that way from Ville Platte. If you miss out, shame on you.

B&S has excellent plate lunches and good boudin.
Sausage is best at Teet's.
