Does anyone have one of these? I’m looking for a fire pit for my deck, and these look great since they’re smokeless. I am intrigued by the prospect of being able to cook a steak or burger while sitting around the fire with friends.

I have seen these and am intersted in the responses.

How does it claim to be smokeless? I am assuming it means it is vented to reduce smoke? Cant be smokeless.

I have the Double Flame and it is awesome. Its not smokeless to start, it has to get up to the right temp but once it gets hot there is no smoke. The X series is over kill i think. Not sure what the price difference is but just get he Double Flame 24 with the cooking grate. I have cooked duck, burgers, steak. It gets super super hot.

From what I understand it reburns the smoke so that it is substantially reduced. They say on their website that it’s not smoke free, but Less smoke.

That's correct. It makes it cool to watch. You see the flames jump and burn the smoke up from the holes around the top lip.

I'm trying to decide between the 24 and the 19. Do you feel like you would have been happy with the 19"? I really like the way the X patinas, so i think I'm going to go for that either way.

I actually have the 19" and i think the diameter is a tad small. Some longer logs stick out above the top lip of the pit and the smoke produced by that does not recombust. I am going to sell my 19" this winter and get a 24" so all logs will fit below the top lip of the pit.

Ok that is exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for. Sounds like I’ll be getting the 24”. Thanks for the advice!
