Kolache Kitchen opened yesterday and after dropping the kiddo off at school I headed over to check it out.

Bacon and cheese was great. Loaded and the pastry was thin so not a lot of dough. You baws recommending the tacos are spot on, very good. This was the steak and cheese.

Next time, one would suffice.

Taco looks great.

You’re saying the kolache pastry is thin? Looks like 2-3x more dough than filling.

I grew up in Dallas and don’t remember kolahe dough looking quite like that.

Just the ends. When you take a bite it was loaded.

Do you burn the fricking roof of your mouth like a pizza roll?

I pretty much only get the tacos. Sometimes I'll get a fruit kolache with it. But it's definitely good. The one by LSU makes a killing.

No plates, how else do I eat it?

I was hungry. No dinner last night.

BTW baws, this place is small. More like a take-e-out-e

2 tables inside. 3 outside.

That's my luck. I wanted to try this place, but their fall 2018 opening never happened. Now I move and they open the following week.
