Yes. Finer ingredients maker nicer "quiche". I was trying to K.I.S.S. (and maybe have higher acceptability factor among the guests) with the recipe.

They're extremely easy to make. They present, reheat, and eat better than (no offense) any of the "casseroles" suggested in this thread, but people turn their noses up at them for some reason...until they eat some.

Easy one and used it many times.

Dozen eggs
1lb sausage
1lb bacon
1 lb shredded cheese
1 bell pepper
1 onion
Pack of mushrooms

Cook meat, chop and sautee veggies

Mix with half of the cheese and the eggs (beaten of course) salt and pepper

Put in oven for about an hour at 350. Put cheese on top. Cook a little longer as needed.

Done. Delicious and easy.

I've made this Sesame Bagel breakfast casserole twice, and it was fantastic both times...there are some ingredients that were hard to get that I subbed out, but it's really, really good and definitely savory:

Breakfast lasagna is always a hit when I make it. Lay some parchment paper on a rectangle baking sheet, scramble the eggs and pour it on it, and bake it in the oven. Makes a uniform sheet of scrambled egg, the lasagna will stay together better rather than using eggs scrambled in a skillet. LINK

Decided on this Spinach Bacon Guyere Strata, but going to add some mushrooms to it because I have some that need to be used, and omitting the dijon mustard because I forgot to buy some at the store. May throw a little brown mustard in it if I can't get to a store. Also using regular French bread instead of the multi-grain called for in the recipe.
