They may not have been pretty, but they tasted damn good. B warmed them up and we polished them off at halftime.

This is a easy solid recipe. I have used this recipe with the puff pastry repeatedly since I read the original post. Its now one of our go to dishes for snacks on game day or parties. I have used boudin, crawfish etouffee, sausage, brisket, and taco meat. They are all good. Also have done dessert pies the same way - apple, blueberry, peach and pineapple. Pineapple turned out the best. Sprinkle a little powdered sugar on them once they have cooled a bit.
