Duckfat in Portland. Fries fried in you guessed it. Good local draft selection.

I posted a long thread on the Travel Board about Boston that should be helpful.

Portland is full of great restaurants. I second Duck Fat. Especially for lunch. Eventide is amazing as well - the brown butter lobster roll is out of this world. For brunch I’d highly recommend Teralingua.
If you have any questions about either city, I’d be happy to help steer you in the right direction.

if you've got the time, drive 3.5 hours away from portland to Stonington, ME. There's a restaurant there called Aragosta. Its a beautiful drive and you'll thank me when you get back.
