I've done plenty of crawfish, but never any crabs. What is your go to method? Seasoning similar to crawfish but different cook/soak times I assume?

I only change the cook time.

First, ice the crabs...keep them cold until you boil. Drop them in a rolling boil, return to a boil on high heat. Go 5 minutes on a steady, low boil. Cut the fire, cool the pot, and soak until you like the spice on a taste test. I start testing claws after 20 minutes or so.

I soak them till they start to sink. Also they stay juicy if you lay them on their backs if you don't eat them right away.

Add a little vinegar.
They'll peel easier.
