I am Planning on boiling 10 lbs of shrimp with crawfish tomorrow. I have never done the two together before and I looking for some advice.
Crawfish first, then add shrimp? How long do you let shrimp soak before they are too hot to eat or get too tough?
Can I just add them after I turn the heat off while the crawfish soak or do they need to actually boil?

I would just do the shrimp after. Shouldn’t take the water long to come back to a boil after the crawfish are out, and are very quick to cook and soak.

Cook crawfish first, after you take them out add more seasoning, a good bit more, bring water to a boil, cut off heat and then add shrimp. , they will float almost immediately, keep watching them, once they start sinking take them out.
