Boiling crabs in a turkey fryer pot. How many crabs will fit? How long should I boil and soak? What quantity of seasoning should I use? Thanks!

put on ice before boiling
put them in the basket belly up
i personally season the pot the same as crawfish
10 to 12 minutes then cut the fire
let them soak

It can fit as many as the pot allows for the crabs to be covered fully in water and not boil over.
I put the crabs in regular temp water, the start the fire. Once the water starts boiling, I allow them to boil for 12 minutes. I then soak for 30 minutes after adding some ice
Quantity of seasoning is tough for this size pot without seeing it. I usually use the exact same as I do for crawfish. However, just dump a ton of seasoning in there. You cant really over season the water for crabs

this is true but i dont know how you eat crabs, but my mouth is in contact with the shells. If you over season the shite of the water, the shells can be extremely spicy and your lips will be on fire

It's a 30 quart turkey fryer. How many crabs do you think I can fit in it?

I bring our turkey fryer when I go camping and plan on setting out my crab traps, Academy even sells a little basket for them too. I've done a dozen medium crabs and a few potatoes/corn and it does just fine. Wouldn't hold much more than that though.
ETA: Not sure what size it is.

Paul,
He really may hunt your broke arse up and kick it. Or have an employee do it. Just sayin'...

My 80qt does half a bushel with corn and potatoes, so that's about 45ish crabs
So I would think a 30 qt could handle close to 2 dozen
