Boiled crab question....

How long will boiled crabs keep in the fridge? I have eaten them after 6 days and couldn't really tell a difference.

Yeah unless you had a ton of leftovers there is no way boiled crabs would still be in my fridge 6 days later.

I dont go over 4-5 days. I normally eat boiled crabs/crawfish/shrimp till Im miserable so I dont have much left overs.

A crab never lasts four days with us, ever. But I'd eat one at 6 days.

I end with leftovers because the lady I buy them from will sell a bushel or more. I normally eat on them for a few days and then freeze the rest for gumbo.

my rule is a week at the most, after that i just peel and freeze the meat for cooking food items with.
depends how you keep them but i find loose in a box in the fridge they start to get dry by day 6
