I just wanted to let ya'll in on a hidden gem in Baton Rouge. I went for the 3rd time yesterday. The first 2 times were Waitr Carryout. The food here is exceptional and very well priced. They have some really good healthy dishes which was my goal when I went yesterday but I caved when I heard the special. Yesterday's special was Meatloaf sliders topped with Mac n Cheese and Onion Rings.
The service was great as well. I love it when places ask if you would like a to-go drink, which the server did. It has a real mom and pop feel to it. On the 2nd time I came in to pick up my Waitr Carryout, they actually recognized me from the first time and had my food waiting for me with a smile when I walked in.
I definitely encourage you guys to give this place a shot if you are ever in the area. It's over on Cloverdale and Airline where the old Willy's location was. I think they are just open for Breakfast and Lunch. One day I'm going to give their breakfast a try - I'm sure it's phenomenal.

I don't see how they're not packed every day. I haven't had their cake, but the cookies are off the charts

They catered our office Thanksgiving lunch last year. Had a lot of options to choose from. Delivered it to us piping hot and was delicious.

Yep I have heard great things about the bakery side as well. The lunch portions they give out are gigantic so I've always been too stuffed to think about desert.

Last time we went for lunch, they gave us each a free piece of cake to go! It ended up being a late night snack.

They cater a lot of lunches where I work. Never had a bad meal from there.

I've been a good 10 times since it is close to our office.

I've the owners aunt/uncle for several years and try to make by there at least once a month for lunch. Great food, good service and their desserts are as good as it gets.
