Hey guys, I wanted to ask you beer people where the best stores are in the New Orleans area to buy beer. I always lived right next to a Rouses so I got beer there, but I want to find a different and better place with good, high quality beer. Are there any good stores around here that you can suggest?

Steins is great but can be a pain in the arse to get to and does not have tap to fill growlers. 504 has a lot of the same beer unless you know the special man.

504
Steins
elios
Roberts Lakeview and Lakeview Grocery
Several uptown Rouses including tchoup
Uptown Martins. Metairie one in a pinch

I stayed in the hotel next door a few months back. I walked in not expecting much, but was blown away by the selection in there.

Yeah, it sucks because a lot of stuff is in the cooler. But it great for the second road soda on the way home from work.

The reason why we put Elios as #1 on our list is no one knows when their beers hit the shelf until everyone knows:

About to go pick up some of that Juice.
