Go with a picture of what you want.. Send it to the kitchen and tell them not to send it back until it looks like that..

I still cant get how Dixie responded to a post with a picture in it and quoted what I said in that post but didnt see that large arse picture in the same post..

Just tell them how you want it...those big beautiful black women in the kitchen at Ruths know how to cook a steak.

Sorry man. Just didn't expect to see anything different than the first two pics. Looked right past it.

Plus they were the only one that had homemade potato chips and believe it or not they served them with ketchup.

You can get those here in BR. Not on the menu, but they are happy to make them for you.

ETA: I'll second (or third or fourth) the recommendation for TJ's filet. Was always my recommendation if someone is looking for a reasonably priced high quality piece of meat. At least it used to be. Now that I think about it I haven't been in a while. Guess it still holds true.

Primo's will be closed by August, trust me

YOU ARE WRONG Zataboy! PRIMOS will be closed in 2 weeks.

Just got the news from the horses mouth.

They should have renamed & re-concepted when Jaime Hernandez came on board. They just could never shake the bad reputation that PRIMOS has built up. Been loosing money left & right. Too damn bad!

Zataboy and Daddy, I heard this just yesterday myself, but wasn't gonna spill the beans, as supposedly some of the workers were yet to hear this..but it either went mainstream today..or you have let the cat out.

Tough times to be in the high-end steak market, as Mortons, Ruth Chris, Palm,etc..have all struggled of late..let alone a local place like a Primos that never hit the pinnacles that such chains have, even in recent years when economic times were better.

Ironically, though, as the consumer confidence has risen of late, coupled to record lows by many restaurant stocks, it has created great bargain stock buys, and some such as J Alexander, Ruth Chris, Darden Group, Brinker Group,etc..have seen 200, 300, and even 400 percent gains over the past few months, some in as little as just a mere six weeks.

the cat out
The Cat is Out. Trickled down towards me.

Too damn bad. It is a really good restaurant. Too bad that the rest of Baton Rouge couldnt see it.

I guess it was doomed by the lingering ghost of Philipe Parola (evil bastard!)
