I love LA Thai — they also do a seafood version that’s very good. Not to mention the best hot-and-sour soup I’ve ever had.

So it used to be at Siamese Thai (rip). It’s replacement, Thai Zaap is decidedly inferior. I hear good things about Royal Thai in River Ridge, but I haven’t tried it yet.

Also, Banana Blossom in Gretna, but they do other things there better than straight Pad Thai. The Pad Thai is still really good, though, and better than a lot of others I've had.

Yea Siamese Thai was a hidden gem in Metairie. I haven’t been back since they shut down.
