i hear that place is awesome .. and then you just walk next door and can pick from a huge list of beers at haymerchant
Want to try out both of these places. Been to a good number of the ones on the list, but these two I havent and have heard good things.

Hay Merchant is pretty good, for food and for beer.
Petrol Station is more my vibe (especially now that they have the kitchen back up and running) but you can't really go wrong at either place for a good beer bar. Ginger Man and Flying Saucer either, for that matter.
Might have to hit up Underbelly next time I'm that way.

I can't disagree with any of the places that I have been on that list.
Hugo's got best brunch, been there for dinner and thought it sucked, so I might have to disagree with that. but everything else looks pretty good.
And little jimmy's deli should get best sandwich.

I'm at gatlins in the heights. Best BBQ I have had in Houston thus far.

co worker lives a few blocks from there and gets it every saturday during football season.
I went there for the first time a few weeks back, place is awesome, but you better call about an hour early on Saturday and before noon or they might run out of some stuff. They ran out of ribs, chicken, and potatoes the day I went. I called my order in and they told me to come in 30 minutes, then it took them another 20 while I was there to get it to me.

Not only great food but really nice people. You don't always get great service with great food, but at Gatlin's you do. The potato salad was AWESOME. It's very rare when I can find a bbq place that doesn't frick up the potato salad. Brisket and pulled pork were perfect. I'll definitely be back.
