City Pork had a good hot dog withe chilli mustard and green onions the last time I went. I think it might have been a special though, so I'm not sure how often they serve it.

I can't say they are the best ever, but Mike Willie's in Industriplex has deep fried hot dogs with either etouffe or white gravy and bacon on them, among other things. Pretty good! Then again, I haven't had anything bad from there.

They make some really good ones, but I'm not going to pay $7 to still be hungry after I'm done with it....

You must have an impressive appetite. I usually get the porker or the one with mac & cheese... with a side of tots it's sometime tough to eat it all.

Frankies is legit IMO.

I went about 3 weeks ago on a Sat afternoon and was in a hurry but it probably took 15 minutes for 2 dogs as they had 1 person working there. I few people in line left. Hate to see that.

Perkins between Parrains and Zippys. Good little place. It's one of Jambos joints.

is it under new management?, went there when they 1st opened and it was not good, they boiled the dogs, no grilling at all.

I agree with this...When they changed the Chili, they lost me...It was more of a hot dog with Spaghetti sauce

Well to be honest I prefer a boiled hot dog and it's really a southern way of cooking them. I like them grilled too but lack thereof is not a deal breaker. A good steamed, soft bun is as important to me as the dog. And as I posted in the other thread and someone mentioned here the chili is Sysco canned and is pretty bad.
