My one year old would love it and I want to find a good hibachi in the area. Are there any with good daily specials or happy hours?

Just moved back to Baton Rouge from Florida and we were spoiled with a place called kobe that had great specials

I usually go to Ichiban off Essen and Perkins for hibachi.

Ichiban and no one is close. I’ve eaten more hibachi than 99% of the planet. Trust me.

Tokyo Cafe should have been closed by Board of Health!

Tokyo Cafe was my favorite for years. Went nearly two years ago and could tell it was just completely let go and haven't been back. Didn't know about the rats but that's usually the next step once you notice the other blatant stuff starting to slip so I'm not surprised.

BR does have great hibachi. Ichiban is serviceable but how the heck do they not have the mustard sauce? frick yum yum.

So i just learned to make the mustard and ginger sauce and i cook it myself and it is better than anywhere in BR.
