I use a commercial 24qt stainless stockpot each Thanksgiving and Christmas for groups that size.

I've got a heavy duty stainless steel turbo pot that I use when making large batches. It holds 4 gallons of product and is my go-to pot for making gumbo, beans, stews and jambalaya when needing to feed that many people.
I do have a 20 qt. cast iron pot I'll sometimes use, but that bugger with the lid and stone empty weight a good 25 lbs. on it's own. It's not enamel coated so nothing red gets cooked in it.

I have maxed out on my 10qt cast iron for large batches so I jumped up to a 20 qt. Really like it but a tad bit too large sometimes. I thought I needed something smaller in cast iron. I realized that my commercial 14 or 16 qt heavy duty commercial alloy stock pots will do the trick. I now make my roux in the cast iron and transfer to big pot. I was also interested in getting large Magnalite roasting pots. Tossed that idea to stick with my commercial pots.
Anything larger I pull out my #15 Jambalaya pot and cook outside.

My wife registered for Le Creruset stuff when we got married and got all RED! My father in law had enough of that shite and gave me the Purple and Gold one for Christmas a while back. I love it.
