In the market for a new propane grill. Currently have a nexgrill which I have had for the past 4 years and it has been great, but the grease pan has rusted through and it’s starting to give me problems. Want something of good quality parts that is durable. Is Weber the way to go? Should I look places other than Lowe’s/ Home Depot? Budget is $500, any advice appreciated

Weber, Oklahoma Joe gas/charcoal/smoke setup, etc are all good in that budget.

Webers are in the $350 range (Spirit series) then jumps to the $1000 range with the Genisis series.

A month ago I got the Spirit. I kinda wish I sprung for Genesis. But like you, my budget was $500.

I've been a weber guy for years but consider a broil king.

I purchased one of the newer weber genesis 4 burner grills and it just doesn't sear well at all. I don't know how the 2 or 3 burners perform but the 4 burners are dissapointing.

Also if it matters to you, broil king's are built in north america, not china. They're also high quality as well. They're up there with a weber.

Have had one at beach condo for 15 years outside in salty air and still going strong

Grates rusted out. Weber sent new ones for free.

They do have excellent customer service but i think these newer models are missing something. My old spirit 3 burner cooked so much better than this expensive 4 burner genesis i have now. I'm really dissapointed with it.

Weber changed my life.

Idk shite about grills, but man this thing kicks every other grill’s arse I’ve ever used.

Lowes will normally put all their grills on sale at 50% off labor day weekend. If you can wait that long it's a great sale.
