you really should .. they are one of BR's best kept secrets when it comes to this item .. most of the other stuff on the menu is average, at best, but they have the chargrilled thing down .. Good happy hour beer prices too .. I love chargrilled oysters .. so I have pretty much had them at all of the aforementioned locations .. and the only ones I would say are in City Cafe's category is actually Mike Anderson's in Gonzales .. believe it or not ..

I normally love the Chimes .. I guess I have to give theirs a 3rd shot .. the first two times I had theirs, I was underwhelmed with size .. Kind of felt ripped off both times, TBH .. but I will try again ..

I love that hunk of a bread you get with your chargrilled oysters at City Cafe almost as much as I love the oysters.

I do like City Cafe. Forgot about them. Nice little setup over there as well, but I just don't get to that side of town often.
What do I know...I'll just defer to LNCHBOX to let me know what's good.
