Sure. Why don't you research it, write a report, and present it to the class next Tuesday?!

Hey, my new office is <4 miles away. Thanks.

Probably means a hour drive in ATL traffic, though. Never thought I'd miss I-10/12 traffic.

It was good, perhaps even very good for Tennessee, but compared to Texas BBQ, it would compare to Dickey's.

Also, some place in Houston. Forgot the name. Run by a bunch of Mexicans, you eat outside. You order by walking in line cafeteria style. Can someone help me out? That was pretty damn good

I forgot another spot I love, the gas station between pineapple and Selma Alabama. Bout five miles from deer camp and 80 or so out of Montgomery. Ol black dude cooks some of the best ribs I ever had out of an old arse barrel smoker grill. Hard to beat with a loaf of white bread some cracklins, grapico, chocolate milk and hoop cheese for dessert hell maybe even a Twinkie before the afternoon hunt/in stand nap

Ridgewood in Bluff City, TN ... Bout 15 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway... Hidden diner back in a hollow, some of best I've ever had... Plus blue cheese dip that is off the chain... Ranks as all-time fave

In Memphis, preferred Interstate over Rendezvous and Corkys

In KC, Gates over Arthur Bryant's and KC Masterpiece

Used to really enjoy Sticky Fingers in Charleston, last few years not so much

Thought Dreamland in Tuscaloosa had better ribs than Rendezvous

Up here in ChiTown, enjoyed Sweet Baby Rays a few weeks back, but am huge fan of Real Urban Barbeque in Highland Park

Best pulled pork was from a guy around the Huntsville area that has a pull along smoker that he brings to events (high school athletic events, fund raisers, etc.) A friend of mine knew him and always knew where he would be cooking. Amazing pulled pork.

As far as BBQ chicken, Saws in Homewood, AL. Mop it with a mix of their dark and white BBQ sauce and you're in flavor heaven. Their ribs are a little inconsistent, but once I had them and they were the best ribs I've had in a restaurant.

Ribs and brisket, would be from a few different teams in the Whistlestop BBQ competition in Huntsville.
