Coater, you made this quote in another thread
I know they were expanding their brewery a few years back and they said that they weren't expanding their distributing area until that was complete.
Are they planning on coming here?
quote:Do you know something I don't or are you just hoping like me that Bell's might eventually find its way here?
i am much more excited about bell's coming.

How the hell did I miss that thread???
Bell's is by far my favorite American brewery with Special Double Cream Stout being my favorite. I've toured the brewery and have had Larry Bell's 5,000 batch and also his 8,000. 5,000 was a smoked beer which had a sort of bacon flavor
8,000 was very close to la Fin du Monde. Every time I travel to a state that carries Bell's like Florida, I call ahead to a liquor store and make sure to take some home. They're very common in states around Lake Michigan, so I don't even bother calling there. If I'm flying, I'll even bring an extra bag with lots of towels to wrap up bottles to bring home. I like it that much.
Unibroue, Goose Island, and now Bell's. I never thought I'd see the days here in Budlightland.
Here's a pic of God (Larry Bell)
