As a paying customer, I think both are ideal, but I will take a bad looking competent bartender over a goodlooking incompetent one...after a few drinks I may say the opposite though.

I have 5 years experience. And i like to think im pretty fast. I worked at a very high volume bar 4 years and an LSU bar for year. Looks are ok i guess...i'v seen better looking than me. Humm i dunoo

Isnt that the truth.. Of course I generally tip a dollar per drink no matter what I get so I guess the only person it hurts is the owner not getting more money out of me.

May want to check out Balcony Bar.. They seem to be hiring all the time.. There are many bars in NOLA just depends on what atmosphere you are looking for.

Quarter is out!...atmosphere doesn't matter. As long as the bar has business and I can make some money.
