Barbecue Shrimp HEADLESS SHRIMP

I know fat in the head is best, but I have several pounds of frozen headless LA shrimps being thawed this weekend. I'd like to do a barbecue or grill version on outside gas grill (if possible).
Anyone have secret tip or ingredient (ie: juice of orange) for this? I have basic NOLA recipes. But I advised (*not told) hubby maybe we should do a good marinade and improvise with skewers and root veggies. Maybe sausage?
Mixture of folks who just went thru "Irma" outside of Ocala.
But all is well, thank the Lord. Chill weekend ?? Thanks so much.

If you have several pounds, do them several different ways, cold shrimp cocktail, kabobs like you said, and bbq shrimp or shrimp & grits, or some other type of shrimp dish.
Coconut shrimp is pretty easy and damn good.
I like just cooking the in a garlic butter and than tossing them in angel pasta, add parm cheese, and maybe a little pesto.

A marinade can "cook" the shrimp. You could season and grill for sure. Shrimp corn dogs would be fun. I'm hooked on those.

I buy shrimp by the ice chest, when I get them fresh I'll peel the body and cut the whiskers off and use them for barbecue shrimp. Sometimes the kids want barbecue and all I have is the frozen shrimp with no head, I'll use those for barbecue shrimp but its not as good, but still okay. 1-lb of butter can make just about anything taste good.

Can't day I like corn dogs. But I'd like to try shrimp corn dogs. What is your recipe? Thanks.

I've been using Alton Brown's recipe for regular corn dogs and following it for shrimp. I love it, but I also love corn dogs. I use his mix for corn dogs, shrimp corn dogs, smoked sausage corn dogs...delicious. One recipe will make a lot.

Ruffino's also has a good recipe. The sauce is good, too.
