Need help. Every time I go to Costco or Restaurant Depot, I see whole fish for sale. I always say I want to try and cook a whole fish baked or broiled.

Can anyone help me with some recipes for baking or broiling whole fish? Thank you

At Costco I see mostly trout
At Restaurant Depot I see various fish just hesitant to buy because I have never cooked fish this way

Keep it simple IMO

De-scale it
Score it (slits every few inches)
Olive Oil, Seasoning
Lemons slices on the meat
Stuff the cavity with aromatics

Bake for 18-20 minutes until the meat puffs up and you can flake it with a fork
