now at Port of Orleans Brewery

"AVO TACO says it’s opening in Port Orleans Brewery after hosting a well-attended pop-up at the brewery last year."

"The New York-based taco joint says the New Orleans location will be managed by Rooted Hospitality Group, its New York-based management team.

The menu will also include specialty burgers, guacamole, quesadillas and more than 12 kinds of tacos featuring steak, chicken, pork and seafood. The eatery will offer all of its items for off-site events as well, such as parties, corporate luncheons and family gatherings."

Hard to see why you'd go there when Barracuda is a few blocks away.

Do people like Barracuda? Maybe we went on an off night, but my wife and I went once and we both thought it was terrible. Extremely bland food. When we got back to our car, we both said that we didn't ever need to go back.

I like it a lot. The tortillas are very good, and the mini-quesadillas they do are solid. They are just very slow, but too be fair they are always slammed.

I love it. Solid corn and flour tortillas. Love the fish tacos especially. Chicken is good too.The pork were mediocre. I had a shishito quesadilla special once that was out of this world.
