Edit- Jeff hwy location
Really enjoyed this restaurant. Was celebrating my birthday (a few weeks late) with a cousin of mine who has a birthday close to mine.
We started out with some drinks and thought the drink menu on the iPad was interesting although you didn’t actually order it on there, you still tell the waiter.
We split the seafood beignets and thought they were decent. I would compare them more to a hush puppy than a beignet but I thought they had good flavor and really liked the white remoulade that came on them.
For entrees I got the Cajun rubbed New York strip that came in a cast iron skillet. I was totally impressed with the flavor of the steak. It really was one of my favorites I have had recently. Also got a loaded potato with it which was good but nothing noteworthy.
My cousin got the prime rib. He liked it but saw how much I liked mine and said he would prob get that next time.
We didn’t do dessert because we were full.
Overall I enjoyed the restaurant. I thought the place was nice. Slightly noisy but it was packed. I liked that tables aren’t on top of each other.
I am glad I made the ride over and would love to go again.

Thanks for sharing, prepare for downvotes though this board doesn't like Stab's

I am glad your experience was good.... my last trip was poor in alot of ways, but I am willing to give them another shot. Skillet strip sounds good, but I dont care for strips - maybe they will do a ribeye that way? Thanks for review, I will put it back on my radar.

My dad went there about a month ago and has had steaks from all the BR/Nola favorites and said they really enjoyed their meal there. Wife and I now have it on our list.
