I was in a long relationship that ended because of several things. But this was always an argument and a dumb hill I kept choosing to die on. If you see any kind of prolonged dating or a future with this woman, go pick her up and take her somewhere. Just do it.

I hear ya. You gotta be thick-skinned on these TD forums. Some of these people are cold, man!

Maybe she is perfectly happy driving herself from boring arse O’Neal lane to go hang out downtown.

Food board is usually a bit better.
In re-reading I’m thinking it was “thought I’d return the favor” “don’t want to drive in traffic” attitude that just sounded overly casual and disrespectful of the woman.

Just saying how it sounded. Don’t know the inner thinking obviously.

No longer the case. It used to be much better. Not sure what happened.

Why all the downvotes for Portobellos? I mean it's not a Michelin star restaurant but not bad for a date night from a cheapass that won't drive across town.

IDK why Portobello's gets downvotes. We went there when everything else was closed during Le Gran Deluge, we kept saying that we ought come by here more often. We always get good food and service and it's fairly priced. The Sunday brunch is much better than ChimesE.

I don’t get it either. This board also hates Monjuni’s as well.
