Apps and Cocktails in Gonzales, LA

I have to be in Gonzales later today and my wife wants to get apps and a cocktail before the function. I have zero experience with Gonzales and all I see is outback and Mike Andersons. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That Mike Anderson’s is good, Houmas house is great for drinks but I don’t know about apps depending on what restaurant is open on the plantaion grounds

Think you can get something at Turtle Bar, but I haven't been in a while.
