There is zero slow down with distributors getting product to stores. In fact, all distributors business is currently booming due to consumers buying in bulk. The only delivery issues distributors currently have is that they are having a hard time getting all the trucks out of their warehouses!
If you do have a friend that has been unfortunately laid off many of these distributors will be hiring part time merchandisers to help keep coolers/shelves filled.

My friends that own a brewery say that the distributors aren't taking any new beer from them because they don't have anywhere to take it with restaurants and bars being shut down. Maybe this has slowed distribution down to a halt in general? I don't really know. Just guessing.
Distributors aren't taking any draft orders which will greatly impact local craft. Kegs going out of date is going to be a major issue for distributors.

This makes sense. There’s a local bar that said to contact them if you’re interested in buying one of their 135 kegs that will go untapped.

Because anyone circulating stupid rumors like this must be a teenage girl that is getting them off of FaceBook.

I assume he means kegs. They're virtually useless right now.
Cans/bottles are selling like crazy in off premise. Saw some new items come into one of my accounts today, and it's not like they got it in last week and waited until today to ship. It's usually a next day shipment once it hits the distributor's warehouse.
