Do they do a good job? Ease of use? Recommendations?

I use one to cook turkey and pork butts with very good results. Cooks fast too. Like a couple hours for a big turkey.

Ease of use?
That's the main selling point. Couldn't be easier. And I can cook the meat while sides are in the oven.

Recommendations?
I think I have Char-Broil Big Easy.

When I first started using one I was a bit skeptical about the wire "lid." Man does it make a difference.

I have this too. Works well for pork loins.

Yeah that lid burned the shite out of me last year at the hunting camp. But they work well. Like set it and forget it.

I have a big easy as well....use to use it a lot when I lived in FL but since I moved to TX, I started smoking everything.
Both have their advantages and I have no doubt that I will go back to the big easy one day when I'm looking to change it up.
I've done everything from chickens, turkeys, butts, loins, a shite ton of sausage, and even a full basket of oysters in the big easy...it was all good.

End of discussion. If I can cook a superb turkey in this thing- and I can, you need look no further.

Although it is not quite the same... It is easier, less of a hassle safer, and cleanup is simple enough that you don't miss the grease.
Char-Broil brand is what I use.

The only thing that bothers me a little is the term "oil-less fryer." It's an oven. Plain and simple. But I really like the results.
I'm all for a fried turkey...if somebody else is doing it.
