Anyone ever written a cookbook before??

I spent most of the summer testing recipes for my first cookbook and I'm looking for some advice on shopping for a possible publisher.

I know a few chefs who have had their cookbooks published. I also know a few who are self-published.
Who I'd recommend is sometimes relative to the type of cuisine. I'll probably self-publish a cookbook in a few years.
