Very good friend of mine is friends with the owner. I've been there twice. The first was my buddy's wedding reception and one was an invitation only New Year's Eve party. Based on these two experiences, I'd say you are in for a treat but I can't profess about their day to day restaurant business...

We did a Christmas Eve buffet there a couple years back, had a good experience for that type of event.
