Like a pack that’s been defrosted?

If so, was it good and what settings do you recommend?

Yes and no need to defrost. Crisp skin but watch the time before it splits.

I throw 2 links in frozen at 400 for 20 min. Works very well

All the time.

Used to be an ‘oven only’ boudin guy.

Now I pretty much only use the air fryer.

300 for 18 minutes. Flip halfway.

I used to stop at a little store on Hwy 27 south of Sulphur and the shop owner used to keep the boudin warming in a rice cooker with some water (steaming it). It was previously frozen. Pretty good way of doing it.

Sounds like a good idea if you have a crowd at the house and want to have the links ready when they are.

Assume on the warm setting... and water about halfway up??

Edit - searched around and I’m guessing less water and keep an eye on it.

She had the steamer tray in...so the water level was real low....probably about 1/2 in or so. It never touches the boudin. She had it as self serve in the store...she'd have 3-4 links in there...you'd get what you wanted and when you left she replenished the stock in there. Yeah..it was on the warm setting.

That common at c-stores. But if I'm taking it home to eat I'm putting it in the oven / air fryer to crisp the skin.

Anybody on here ever had the fried boudin at the Exxon station in Natchitoches? It's pretty good.
