Only really "new" place in Thib is Big Mike's BBQ.
I haven't been, but I've heard it's decent for this area. Could probably make it something just as good, if not better, at home though.

Besides that, I'm always a fan of Weeping Willow for a quick sandwich for lunch.

ETA: As mentioned on the Rural food map, Bourgeois Meat Market (543 W Main St, Thibodaux, LA 70301) has some solid Hog's Head Cheese and Boudin.

Nothing noteworthy as far as I know. If the weather is nice, food has vastly improved at La Carreta so that’s worth sitting on the patio.

Think there is a new place called Podna’s on corporate or enterprise. No clue if it’s good.

Big Mikes for BBQ

I really like the taco pizza from West Main Pizza

Ceanas if you're around Dulac

Lots of good seafood places- Big Al's, 1921...

Scarlet Scoop for ice cream

Make the drive to Spahr's in Des Allmands for good bloody mary's and fresh seafood.

Edit : Don't think any of these places are new but still good.

I haven’t had it but it’s a chef in my fiancé’s family that supposedly is good

Alterations and Shrimp over by Church’s Chicken has some decent sized shrimp, and you can get your jean shorts tailored as well.
