Do not go to Rayville, Sams has better meat and you don't have to drive as far. Can't remember the names, but the guy that used to be where Randall's is on Fink's is out on Arkansas rd in West Monroe somewhere. You can laugh at Brookshires, but they do have some prime ribeyes that are pretty good. Prime filets also. If you are a cheap bastard like me, if you can figure out which day they discount those ribeyes and put them in that other display counter the first day -- ain't nothin wrong with them and they are half price.

Gene Cox. He has really good meats but he's proud of em. Anytime I'm out that way I stop and get a few stuffed potatoes. They're excellent IMO.

As stated, Garvins in Monroe, Gene Cox in WM...
I usually just do my own deer and hog butcher'n, but if ya need a cow, that could be arranged as well..

I'd pay some serious cash to have someone butcher a grass fed cow for me.

Randal Garvin of Randal's on Fink's. call Charlie McCain at McCain Farms in Calhoun(he's a butcher). He'll know who grows any. 644-2677.

This is where you guys would drop into a NOLA thread and poke fun at not having a butcher

Ah. I'm not in the Funroe loop enough to know full names.
I actually go into Randal's a good bit. I've bought crawfish from there, but never knew they had fresh cuts.
