Grab some Dr. Krunkles and Dos Cocoas... those are probably the only side projects you will find on the shelves from Terrapin right now.
The Moo Hoo line will come out here shortly.

I sent them a heads up email. Here is the response:
"Thanks for the heads up! Friday before home games are busy and always sell out so make you get here early and come prepared to drink the tastiest, freshest beer around! A few tips that you can pass along to the other Tigers: No need to make reservations or call ahead. They'll be a cash line which moves way faster than using a credit card. You must wear close toed shoes if you want to take the guided brewery tour. You can drink up to 32 oz of beer but no more than that. (State law!) Tours doors open around 5:15 and during the South Carolina , the tour reached capacity at 6:00 so get here early to be first in line!

Copper Creek is good but Terrapin is a better experience. Copper Creek makes their beer in the restaurant but it isn't shipped around the southeast like Terrapin is. Honestly you could do both in a night as Terrapin is closed at 7:30 and Copper Creek is open all night. If you're feeling like an alcoholic and want a variety of beer I'd go Terrapin ---> Copper Creek ---> other bars downtown.

I think I'm going to push to do Copper Creek. Should we be eating there? Or do they have other go-to restaraunts we should try instead and just check out the Copper Creek Brew

You gonna be there Thursday? Thursday night they have 40 cent wings that are pretty good. Honestly I wouldn't go there for food on a Friday night. Its decent, but nothing that will blow you away. Maybe get an appetizer(buffalo chips) with your beer. I'd check the sticky on the LSU board for recommendations. Amici has really good wings, Cali and Titos is great food, Last Resort or 5 and 10 are the best places if you're wanting to spend more money and have a nicer date meal.

Thanks
Really just looking for a great place to eat Friday to soak up some of the atmosphere surrounding the game.
Here is a place near by LSU's campus that would be the place to go when in BR for a game. Looking for that kind of place out in Athens...
Walk On's

Really, you want the Athens version of Walk On's?
DON'T YOU KNOW THAT WALK ON'S WAS VOTED THE #1 SPORTS BAR IN AMERICA?!
Athens can't compete with that. Ain't nobody can compete with #1.

We have tailgate spot scouting to do, so we'll probably just head straight to Copper Creek. I don't think we'll make it in time to get a spot at Terrapin, and that's even assuming we make it through ATL traffic and get to Athens by mid-afternoon.

Copper Creek is cool because it has their own beer. Trapeeze has the best beer menu by a bar/restaurant and pretty good food as well.
We lack in sports bars but about any restaurant downtown will get you in the Athens mood. Herchels and Dirty Birds are the only sports bars we have and neither are nothing to write home about.

Geezus dude enough is enough. You've had 40 people tell you what to do Friday night. Be a man and make a decision.

Ya... not to sound like a dick but you can literally walk around downtown and pick any spot that looks good to you. There are hundreds of restaurants and bars within walking distance of each other.
Google amici, if you dont like what you see walk in any direction and pick another
