Still might be the best representation of Cajun culture on television. From Glenda’s in Breaux Bridge to the crawfish/crab boil and the Boucherie. The amount of amazing food cooked in Eunice those 2 nights were fantastic. Red stick ramblers were also great.

That coincided with his writing for David Simon's Treme on HBO. Both were awesome.

My favorite Episode of one of the better shows on Television. Think of all the other shows, books, and other media he inspired with these. They are a dime a dozen now, but he did it better than any of them. Extemely talented writer and storyteller.
