I can't believe no one has mentioned the fried Halloumi cheese yet, it is amazing.

Café Roma's chicken sharma salad is much better than Albasha's. Albasha uses iceberg lettuce and it basically looks decomposed by the time it gets to the table. Café Roma uses Romaine which is heartier and healthier for you.

At the Albasha in Covington Saturday we had romaine lettuce on our plates.

Any time I've had it in BR, it's iceberg. I've never had it in Civington.

Every Albasha I've been to uses romaine.

If it was Romain when I've had it, it's completely waterlogged. Terrible. It's the only thing I'll never order at Albasha.

I eat at the Albasha in Metairie and Baton Rouge quite often and they both use romain and I've never thought the lettuce was wilted at all. The schwarma salad and combination gyro and shawarma plate are 2 of my most favorite meals in general.
