Has anyone ever tried this? Can you really make cracklins in an air fryer?

I've made chicken cracklins' in an air fryer- really good, fast, less mess.

No it doesn’t work.

Even chefs on YouTube that make pork belly dishes boil it at worst or sous vide it at best then convect bake and then some even broil or fry. That still ain’t gonna cut it

We're talking about pork belly here.

I'm not sure sticking something that is almost pure fat into a pot of pure fat is gonna make that much difference regarding healthiness.

Sure, air fry/bake your broccoli and chicken tenders to be a little healthier, but for pork belly I just don't see why that would matter.

It was asked more for a convenience thing. I was talking about a single serving. Not a whole pot.

I’ve never made them but sure as heck crisped up some after a day or two of sitting out.
