I'm sure Cleavenger (who I've actually witnessed act a bit odd to an employee - but I digress) didn't need this millennial transplant douche's ideas on upending her 35+ year success as a restaurateur.

From everything I have heard, it is a chore to work for her. Hence the quality of chef she is able to attract these days. She is great at PR and has been very successful with a loyal contingency for years (including a certain reporter willing to publish a hit piece on a childish twitter tantrum to help her out). I find the food does not match the acclaim, but she's got her schtick. In the end she just needs an old cook who is happy to only do what she says, not a chef.

How many people have coasted off Austin Leslie's fried chicken recipe?

Clevenger's been around long enough that anyone remotely involved in the food industry knows she is a eccentric and exactly what Upperline is.

This guy seems to specialize at failed restaurants. I'm sure there's an overpriced place in the Bywater serving pork belly just waiting for him.

That guy tweets way too much to be healthy. Like 70-100 a day
