It can be very good, but the service has issues sometimes. Last time we had a group of 5, our waitress didn't write down the orders, like she is Miss Superpro, well she got almost every order wrong. 3 people ordered grilled shrimp, she brought fried, she brought me a salad I didn't order.

The calamari appetizer is very good, but ask them to salt it lightly, if you don't you'll be drinking water for 2 days. But all and all the food has been damn good, it has become a favorite place.

I have been twice and don't plan on going back. The food is only OK and some things were really bad. My friend ordered the mac and cheese and they didn't bring it out. So he informs them to just not worry about it, our food took too long to come out as it was. 2 minutes later they drop off a mac and cheese. The problem is they didn't put it in the broiler so the cheese had no brown to it and it was just lukewarm. It was a dumb move but made even dumber by the fact that someone else at our table had the mac and cheese and you could tell how nice and browned theirs was.

I agree about the calamari. Very very salty. It was like they sprinkled a seasoning pack on it. Too much.

The dirty rice was inedible. Horrible flavor, tasted like they used a seasoning pack for that also, and the rice was undercooked.

The other food was ok but nothing to write home about and the prices are outrageous. Oh, and try asking if you can sub a wedge salad for their side salad. The answer is sure, but it will cost you $4. Which is the same price as their side wedge. So essentially if you do that you give away your side salad for free and pay for a side wedge. I asked the waitress if they thought people were stupid and she just laughed and agreed it is a ridiculous price point for a substitution.

Ok against the advice of the board, we went last night after the game. Place was almost empty which in itself is a red flag, but the waiter said they had a crowd watching the game eating and drinking and then left after. Ok fine. Because we were only one of (at the time) three tables in the dining area (bar is seperate and there were people there), we had a great attentive waiter. Started with sensation salad for the wife and cup of gumbo for me, which had a unique (not unpleasant) flavor I liked. Could’ve used more sausage and it was a thin roux but was fine. Wife had the fish of the day which was grouper and it was sautéed with squash and it was tasty. I had the broiled stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon and it was very good- stuffing was full of seafood and it was cooked perfectly. Wife had two glasses of wine and I had to bourbons and our bill was $90 before gratuity. We’ll go back.
